KLIM Redux

Wait, before the scrutiny of going again to the KLIM for the girls, one just sincerely wanted to practice a bit of portrait photography. I think such shows are great grounds for learning considering light sources are ever changing from one place to another. Moreover, the frantic pace of everyone and everything encourages you to learn to adapt quickly.

And it’s not often that you have models all made up and posing freely/costfree for you. :p

This time round, I aimed for sharpness over exposure and composition. Shot in Manual with f3.2, shutter 1/80 and ISO 200 with flash toned down to min. I still can’t find the EV in Manual mode though.

Wanted to try shooting in telephoto, blurring the background but sharp focus on the object thingy, but at f4.1, exposure was too low, so it was avoided.

The Ford girls were the prettiest. Okay, allow me for a tad bit of hypocrisy on the not going there for the girls statement. :p

Ivan and the girl that I liked the most amongst the others

EEEEE, so sweet!

@.@

There was this weird foreigner that dressed liked a grandmother (it's a guy) and donned, as you can observe, the weirdest hairstyle

Some centrifuge gyroscope thingy where it spins the person emulating G forces or such. The fella was grasping his head after the whole ordeal. Poor fella.

mMmm, zips…

The best thing you could buy for your husband next time

She conjures up images of a fluffy chicken, no?

There is no EV setting in Manual.

At Aperture mode, say ISO200 F2.8 EV 0, it might say 1/40 seconds.

In Manual mode, ISO200 F2.8, setting 1/40 and half-pressing will return the EV. EV 0 means the camera thinks it is perfectly exposed. Manual is for when you want to go beyond EV -2 and EV +2 limits of P, S or A, or want to take a few shots of the same thing without having the exposure change every time you focus.
