Meanings

First and foremost, forgive the lengthy and wordy post. Rain, night time and music are instigators of pensiveness.

I tend to always take the meaning of something and proceed to shake it, dissect it, prod it, read between/above/under the lines and then, hopefully after the whole autopsy, put it back together intact (?).

It being alive is an added bonus

Yet, there’s the danger; that after going through the whole surgery and patchwork, the meaning in itself is distorted and marred even, thanks to dirty hands.

A personal paradigm would be equal to looking at an art piece and to spend countless hours trying to find the inner message in it but loosing the pleasure of absorbing its amazing aesthetic; color (?), medium, texture and etc.

To ‘abstractize’ a tad too much the figurative.

In the end, sometimes somethings are just not meant to be understood and categorized. Worse still, an attempt to do so would bring folly or worst, its true beauty lost.

John Mayer’s song, "new deep" sums it all too well

I overthink and overanalyze too.

sometimes it brings me trouble , but once in a while a deep revelation unfolds.

that's what we live for right.

sigh, true.. it's that revelation that makes us tick...

but sometimes i just wonder.. whether the price of admission is worth it
