Our dear lecturer drew your staple square box, 2 rectangles and a snaky tail with a fat lump at the end to represent the very thing that we consider a necessity and lifeline in life; the computer.
Hence in that informative lecture today, we THIRD year electronic students were introduced to:
a) what is a mouse
b) what is a computer screen
c) what is a keyboard
d) what is a cpu
By now, such information is akin to telling you how to breathe. Come on, you’re speaking to a generation of Dota players here.
Anyhow, personally I find beauty in electronic parts, in terms of its designs and colors.
Nevertheless I’ve always dislike reading the colors on the resistors. You have to squint and gobble out that nursery rhyme that you memorized (I remember vaguely as an old man’s daughter is about to get married hence he needing to find funds and some coconut tree) to associate the colors to its appointed number.
