STOMP STOMP



The video above frustrates me the most. Why? Look and listen at those chords! I've been irked by all this gospel music because you hear it but yet could never find out what it is.

It's sneaky; the chord will come up to you, tell you it's name... but then, you have no idea why, how, what and when that chord works! Arghz..

Today, I had the small revelation that they are tritone substitution. So, with much eagerness, I searched the web and digged up my old jazz books but still, I could not understand how to use them.

I've reached a plateau in my playing, why? Because I'm bored of what I hear myself playing.
