Looking Forward

This post is basically about a few things I’m looking forward to for the upcoming months:

Uni’s been quite fun actually. It’s nice to just sit down in a lecture hall and listen; having all these concepts thrown at you and trying to make some sense out of it all at the same time. I find that way easier then rummaging through text books; lazy person way I guess.

Hence my only New Year resolution would be not to skip class. *halo levitates on top of head* lest I get lousy results and ending up selling yellow monsta famous chicken rice.

On a side note, Ivan and I have been diligently staying back to study after class in Uni. It’s a great arrangement for now when one is at home, the guilt of revising for the day is relinquished hence ps2 sessions aren’t guilt ridden anymore.

Also, joined the music club which charges RM 45 a month for about 20 odd type of lessons; ranging from western/eastern instruments, vocal training and music composition/theory, and u can practically join any of the classes how ever often you want.

That’s equivalent to giving an avid shopper the leeway to buy anything and everything desired with no hold backs.

Am going to take up violin, vocal training and most probably composition theory; yes, one is in music heaven.

Then there’s the upcoming piano competition and band competition.

Apparently it’s going to be some classically themed competition but am thinking of jazzing/funk up some classical pieces like Chopin’s Fantasia Impromptu (I used to pronounce him as chor-pin and not shore-pan. My piano teacher nearly dieded and chor-pin a second)

For the band competition, Ivan and I are still finding band members.

Getting to know some new music buddies (cute ones please thank you) through the music club would be most congruous.

Anyhow, things are like in standby mode now but I’d rather hit life's 'play' button soonest which most probably could only be done a bit later.

Anyways, that music club sounds so cool. I've never heard anything like it. But I am a rather boring person and would only take the oppurtunity to get back into piano.
