Eating a Bunny

Some narcissism first; one’s pics in the papers! :p

Anyhow, amongst new recipes tried are:

Chicken Carbonara

Interestingly, there’s a lore which associates carbonara to being a staple food of miners. The word itself has something to do with coal mines, I think. Anyhow, nowadays the black pepper that's sprinkled unto it is supposed to emulate black charcoal that may have dropped unto the miners bowl then. I found that quite interesting. Hmm.

Fried Mee with Black Pepper Chicken

Actually, after learning to cook, I realized that we are paying sometimes outrageously for certain food served outside. You know, the RM 10++ for a puny serving of pork ribs rice kind of scenario? Forgive the following crude acronyms but WTF? RM 10 can easily feed 3 people a heartly meal.

Oh! A friend got me this cutey from Australia. One’s first ever Kit Kat bunny! It’s rather huge; as tall as my hands with fingers stretched out. Yet, a nudging image of biting the rabbit’s ear was too strong to resist hence soon, it turned out like this…

Looks like something from Heroes eh? =)
