Birthdays

Birthday’s are to most, an unconscious examination on the importance of our existence to other people around us.

Those who shake a cold shoulder towards it and dismiss the silent impact on their acceptance meter are *insert any adjective you’d wish here, the negative kind is most congrous*

Yet, as one grows older, even a phone call or message of acknowledgement that indeed today or yesterday or a week before (it doesn’t matter on the accuracy of timing really) that it is/was one’s birthday, is a kind gesture in itself.

Hence, thank you for all the well wishes. =D

It was a rather muted birthday last month considering the next day was Examsday. Yes such days precedes and exceeds even the importance of anybody’s birth. Exams be damned!

But, all was not lost. A sweet friend provided dinner and a surprise too in the form of a birthday cake.

And from Australia, boxers of the outmost comfortable proportions. *heart boxers* Yet, the trickery of it being pink was sly indeed. I thought it was blue! On a side note, there are buttons but no openings in the middle to accompany them... hmm.
