Break Ups

Break ups are one of the worst things in life to experience. It’s like getting soaked with 2, make that 3 buckets of cold water and then, left there to dry off. Yet, you could never be completely dry because tears will continue to soak in.

My first break up was the worst, maybe because of just that, it being the first time. Moreover It was rather sudden, with the girl dumping me through a goodbye letter that she passed to me on that day.

I felt confused, hurt and suddenly a deep void formed; a kind of void that somehow shouts loneliness. The next day was a total flipside of my feelings. Instead of feeling everything the day before, I felt nothing the next day; I was a walking zombie.

I couldn’t eat or do the usual things. Even the things that I enjoyed daily seemed to not matter anymore. I just wanted to sleep and hope to wake up from the nightmare that was.

Yet, the pain in breakups is only temporary. Soon enough time heals and indeed, life goes on.
