I Need to Deposit Some Sense

First and foremost, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jo on helping me learn how to use a Maybank deposit machine. Due to her inherent wisdom, I’ve been able to transfer money to buy my lens that’s reaching TOMORROW! YEEEEEY! But, that’s not the point. I was so noob. I was looking all over for a form to fill to deposit the money.

So there was this long stretch of forms.. I bent over to look for one that says ‘for deposits’ but most were ‘fast cheque deposit’. Then I questioned myself, “why is everyone looking at me bending down looking at a whole stretch of forms (that were actually same which I only knew oh too soon after that)?”

Then Jo asked, “eh, deposit money, use this machine here” Ray replied, “oh izit?? Wahhhh” Before that, I go susah copy the receiver’s details without knowing that you just had to key in the bank account number.

The machine didn’t like my money though. It rejected some bills 3 times and counted 3 times each time I put the money back in again. Jo says that it’s usually all just once.

Here’s an electronic engineering student in his fourth year not knowing how to deposit money through an automated machine that’s most likely designed by electronic engineers.
