Post Photoshoot at the Curve

Photoshooting at the curve today was fun!!

At first, my friend felt rather awkward because it was her first time being a model but by the end of it all she was addicted to it and feeling rather disappointed that my memory card was full since she wanted to continue to shoot. Hahaha.

It was a lesson on posing a person more then anything else. How a small bend or tilt could make a big difference. I still got lots to learn on how to shoot at an angle that best flatters a person features.

Learnt to the importance of continually engaging the model and encouraging her that she’s doing well and looking great. Towards the middle of the shoot, I kinda lost steam and stopped saying much to her when I was photographing her and she kinda felt burnt out too.

But once the encouragement returned, the momentum picked up too.

The lighting today was nice; bright but soft and the Curve has actually lots of nice locations to shoot. Bought her a happy yellow sunflower as props too.

Am still lacking in the background choice area, shall maybe focus on that during the next shoot.

Photos up when I’m done editing ‘em. For now, DINNER!
