R: Wedding Update

Wedding was fun shooting!! First time attending chinese wedding, haha.

The couple were really cute too.. eeee.. *pinch cheeks*

Anyhow, am back for awhile to unload 6 gigs of photos, get a small nap and head out again for the dinner. To tell the truth, the other two photographers, their shots were so so. I mean, it's alright but not so for a full fledge slide show for dinner later.

But they booked to do the slide show first, so, nvm I guess. Heh.

I think after today, I'm going to scrap the idea of getting that 50-200 f2.8 lens. I realized I need a fast f1.8 wide angle lens, a flash unit and a second body. Cause most of the time it's either a deep desperate wanting for more light, the unneeded need to change lens and a wide lens.

And inside houses are a tad pain to shoot..

Got approached for another wedding this november and maybe a prewedding shoot too.. so lets see how it goes..

And I let this small boy try out my cam, he was hooked. Poor parents, I'm sorry since now your kid shall demand full frame digital cameras that if doubled could buy a Kancil.

I smell a Pentax SMC-DA 14mm F2.8! It's way cheaper than other brands.

That baby can focus down to 17mm! That's closer than a point-and-shoot!

Or, you could go the traditional way with a 16-50mm F2.8, 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 or 12-24mm F4. The fisheye will bring the chicks, though.
