R: Blades of Death KILLL KILLLLLLLL (too much kill bill)

There’s this story I’ve read somewhere sometime someplace long ago. There was this boy who was asked to pick the best blade of grass in the big green field before him. The only rule was, he could only pick one at a time and there would be no turning back, just forward motion.

So excitedly he went running into the field and got his first piece. As he walked, another looked better hence the first was dropped and the second taken. Yet he found another and so on and so forth.

He finally reached the end of the field and his mom asked, honey, show me the best grass you picked. He opened his hands to show that it was empty.

So ya, the moral of the story is that we’d better not be choosy in choosing lest at the end we end up with nothing. Yet, I’m rather sure with this but there’s a slight tinge that asks, what if there’s a better one?

Maybe all I should do is just stand still for the moment and scour the horizon. =p
