R: Wedding Whee!

An email sent by the newly weds definately made my to-day. The biggest satisfaction of any photographer is of course an appreciation of the photos you produced. They were very happy with the outcome and are wanting to print them out. So that's another exciting element coming; to see the photos in physical print.

Next wedding would be on the 10th. I realized that every wedding, I'd introduce some new gear into the picture. This coming 10th would bring about a 540FZ flash unit, 16 new 2700nimh AA batteries and a really cool lens cleaner that's in a pen shape.
So are camera gears needed to take good pictures? A definate yes, because it allows you access to take that Picture, but the action of taking the Picture itself is of a whole different matter.
