R: Early Marriage

I've just realized why people say that marrying young is financially sound. Think of this scenario if you're marrying at an age of 24-25.

1) you can both inject investments into a mutual fund or such. Since it's using the leverage of compound interest, the power of doubling the initial investment in exponential

2) you can both buy a house together and enjoy the potential equity it provides. Actually, if I get married now and the house mortgage is split between my wife, we could actually afford a house. Not our dream home, but a house that we can use as a launch pad to buy the dream home. I believe a lot of new married couples buy their first home that costs them too much and that's when debt is overpowering.

Anyhow, we somehow stereotype that marriage is expensive. It is, when the kids come in but before that if both partners are working then there shouldn't be a problem. Alright, maybe buying rubber would be detrimental to your finance but oh well.

Set, shall marry early!
