R: Busy Be

My Fav Pic From That Day
Lack of updates = BUSY!

Been trying to get a picture done for a client. He wants to print it out on an 8R size for his wedding day itself this Saturday.

It’s not been easy but it has been a fun learning experience.

1) How to be calm no matter what. That to be emotionally and mentally stable is more important then skills itself.

2) How to set up a gallery online. There’s this really cool thing you can install called gallery2 that has tons of themes and plugins to customize the gallery itself.

3) The client may know what he or she wants but sometimes, you need to gauge whether their input is making sense at all.

People think that it’s as easy to point a camera and just snap. It’s not so. Trust must exist between you and your photo subject whether it be a model or wedding couples. I find these couple shoots before the weddings are excellent to get to know the couples more.

It’s going to be a busy 2 months and am thinking of taking a one month break to focus on studies after Crystal’s wedding in February.
