R: Volatie Vomits

Today was hell. Wait, today’s morning was hell. I woke up feeling nauseated, went to the toilet and puked like Niagara falls.

Then the taxi trip to Bankers Club was stomach churning hence once I arrived there, I did what I need to do; puke even more.

Things flashing in my head whilst both of my elbows were on the toilet seat was:

1) I want my mommy

2) What the heck am I doing here

3) What the heck am I being a wedding photographer

4) There are 12 more hours in front of me

5) shit shit shit shit shit

So in desperation, I called a friend to back me up. He could only help me out in the afternoon. Then, in further desperation, I nearly wanted to call this guy who charges more then half of what I was earning in fear of being sued.

Anyhow, when work started, I suddenly felt better and better and better. Mind you, I was starving cause everything one ate, it went out through the mouth. Erghz.

In the end, I still love the job. I think the shots this time are up a notch thanks also to the really nice aesthetics in Bankers Club.

It was a really emo wedding. I was weirdly trying to hold back from tearing few times. I’m just glad to be home, glad the photos turn out well, glad to just stop puking.
