R: Mini Update

Just had a wedding shoot yesterday for Gary & Joyce. It was really fun for so many reasons. The family members were a really warm bunch and it twas nice to meet up again with the first couple I took wedding photos for; Pauline & KJ. When I found out Pauline reads this blog, I was so shy. Why? She teaches English... so...

Gary & Joyce have dated for 9 years. It really shows how much chemistry they have for each other to have gone this far. Remind me to ask them what's their secret.

Anyhow, presenting to you the bride & groom:

Okay, maybe not, here's the real Bride:

Joyce has the sweetest smile and really beautiful gentle eyes. It makes taking wedding photos easier when the brides are pretty. Heh. Anyhow... is that a tummy I see on me? O M G.

One of my favourite shots that night. I wanted to take the risk of trying to shoot them backlit by the stage lights and without flash. Risk because it's easier to just use flash and shoot from the front where you have the stage lights to support you. And there was the videographer who was whizing around infront that if captured may spoil the whole mood of it!

Can't wait to finish editing Gary & Joyce's set. Am going to design a jewel box cover this round and hopefully for the succeding wedding couples in the future.
