R: Road Rage

For all it’s worth, things may have already changed. Where a single road has diverged. Yet for now, maybe the illusion of the closeness is thanks to how such diverged roads are parallel. We could look at each other side to side, speak and even reach out our hands to hold each other.

But, there’s this unnerving vibe of the speeding car of time and how sooner or later, the roads shall move in opposite directions, parallel no more.

So why do I still anticipate and even commemorate.

Nevertheless, I want my own journey now, my own destination yet why I fear we may collide though different paths.
