R: That's How The Cookie Crumbles

There’s just a great desire to press some self destruct button. No, not suicidal in a physical level more on a circumstantial level. It feels as if the once ‘I kinda got my life figured out’ stance is now slowly crumbling down.

No, it’s more like ‘ye old age stupidity of trying to contain sand in your hands. But yet I keep trying, keep trying to keep them in my grasp. Nevertheless, it’s slipping by the day when finally like today it feels like there’s nothing more left.

Wait, it’s more like having someone slit your stomach and having your innards spewed out. As you try to gather them back, they keep slipping out again. Frustrated, tired and exasperated, you just sit down and in utter surrender of the dire consequences. It’s even slightly amusing as you scour the ‘destruction’ before you.

In the end, what’s even more saddening is the perpetual questioning of the point of even trying in the first place.
