Ever felt empty? Like there’s a deep dark crevice that seems to have no bottom?
So there I would go about everyday, trying to find that state of perpetual un-void-ness but alas, perpetual is usually replaced by temporary-ness. Yet, based on personal experience, Christianity has been the greatest piece of that black hole puzzle. It fits so perfectly that it’s uncanny sometimes. So I’ve tasted in a very blunt erratic sort of way; completeness.
But becoming that reciprocal puzzle shape is sometimes hard; sometimes? Make that always. So most of the time, one morphs into polygons of so called ‘worldly’ distractions. Yet, one can’t deny the fun in them. They are instant, physically stirring and easily accessible to the senses. Compare that with the sometimes vague and air like condition of religion which are potent mixtures of the doubt potion.
Overall, a lot of time is wasted trying to find that lost piece of us in a different puzzle box altogether while in reality, complementation is just a prayer away.
Heh, easier said then done. =(
On a side note; studies on life longevity states that two greatest elixirs of life are falling in love(+7 years) and practicing a religion(+7 years). Other elements had powers to add about 1 to 3 extra 12 months world sustaining continuities.
Oh, another side vexing note; someone has commented that the current church stage layout exudes likeness to a pub. Yup, they dabble in the arcane arts of symbolism and expect church growth.
