Of life's oddities

Imagine one day someone did better then you in your studies. Imagine in protest of such an outstanding performance, you boycott the whole education system and of course that ‘stupid’ student by not wanting to attend school for one day. By doing so, would you deem yourself

a) Heroic

b) A Revolutionist

c) A moron
You need not then imagine about this; bookstores, in protest of cheaper priced HP books offered elsewhere, boycott by not wanting to sell their own stock of HP books.

Could you be gracious and merciful to me as I slap a definite answer-c unto them? Let’s not even divulge our time on understanding the unfathomable reasons given officially by them for being the morons they are. I never knew bookstores could be deemed childish.

There’s certain spirituality in companies nowadays. We not only buy into their products but also what we think the company stands for. Take for example one’s prior camera purchase. In Low Yat, it was about RM150 cheaper then the store I got from in Midvalley.

Because of a general perception that camera dealers in LY are sleazy and un-trustable, I forebode my RM150 and bought peace of mind with it from the shop in MV, notwithstanding the actual realism in it of course. But hey, it’s my cash, it’s our cash, it’s your cash.

I guess the steps taken by such bookstores do speak volumes on what they stand for.
