Death

Graduation at age 24 +

So, a good estimation of when I could afford a marriage is 29? If I get a gf now, I’d have to wait 5 long years to consummate her. 5 years! Then there’s the question of settling down so young, of constricting your personal experience of the world and its vast staple of things to do before you die.

Yet, such trivial thoughts implied the following; we won’t know when we are going to die. We make plans to do an arbitrary this at so and so time whilst the fact remains that we could just die the very next day.

It’s such a weird concept, death, even though it’s something as common as teh ais. To never ever wake up, to never ever see your friends and family, to never ever set foot on this reality we are in. To never ever drink coffee, omg!

In the end, I’m not ready to say goodbye yet. But the thought of being at your death bed at an old old age, without regrets, without what ifs but instead a pure contentment of how your life was lived and as such, having the readiness to leave this world is somewhat beautiful.

May you die happy.
